PROJECT
ElderFall aims to bring a unique RPG experience to Project Spark.

What is ElderFall?
Elderfall is a 3D single player RPG in which the player will take the role of a variety of characters as they steer the course of a world on the brink of destruction.
The combat is action oriented, with players being able to dodge and block attacks as well as cast spells and abilities in real time. One of the core features and focuses of ElderFall is a large and brutal array of enemies. The aim is for a boss to never be beatable on it's first try, and that's no easy feat to accomplish. ElderFall pulls inspiration from games like Dark Souls in that it wants the player to have a strong sense of accomplishment when he/she finally beats a boss.
ElderFall's second main feature is that it will be a union of linear gameplay and open world areas. Depending on where your at in the story, you'll be able to travel to areas you've been or maybe even areas that aren't part of the main story. Monster hunting, proffessions, and real estate will all be part of the wide world of Atlas when your not engaging in the main quest.
Lost Throne
Though ElderFall is planned for being a full neatly wrapped package, the current beta version of Project Spark hinders a few very key features that would make creating a larger game possible. As such, Elderfall will begin with a set of prologues detailing the events of the characters before the main game begins.
The first of these will be Lost Throne: And ElderFall Tale, which tells the story of Thaden Ringborn, the main protagonist of the ElderFall series. Thaden recalls little of his past after he was awoken by a group of miners, saying they found him in the tunnels while they were running for their lives from monsters. The mines were overun, and the miners are stuck at their outpost with a few of the Republic Guard to safeguard them. Thaden doesn't recall his past, but he still has his iron will and his unbreakable stubborness. He decides that if he's going to get answers, the only way to do that is to get back to the mines, and find out why he was down there in the first place. But unbeknowst to Thaden, he would be finding much more than his own memories in the depths of the earth where malevolent things sleep...
